What is set

01
Before you agree, nothing. No cookie of any kind is placed on your device when you arrive. The typefaces are served from this website's own server, so no font provider learns that you were here, and no advertising network is involved at any point. Until you choose otherwise, the answer to what is stored on your device is: nothing at all.
02
If you agree. One measurement service is used, and it sets cookies which allow it to recognise a returning browser so that visits are not double-counted. What it reports back to me is aggregate: how many people came, roughly where from, which pages were read, and how the site was found. It tells me about the traffic, not about you.
03
If you decline. The measurement service still receives a note that a page was viewed — but with no cookie, no identifier, and nothing that can be tied to you or to any other visit. It contributes to an anonymous count and nothing more. Declining costs you no part of the site: everything reads and works exactly the same.
04
What is never done.No advertising cookies, no remarketing, no cross-site tracking, no profile built about you, no data sold, shared or traded, and no marketing list. Those features are switched off at source, not merely unused.

Your choice

05
Changing your mind.Use the control above, on this page, whenever you like. Withdrawing is exactly as easy as agreeing was, takes effect at once, and requires no explanation.
06
Where the choice is kept.Your answer is stored in your own browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, and it is never transmitted anywhere. It is remembered on this device and this browser only — answer on your phone and your laptop will still ask, because the two know nothing of each other.
07
Doing it yourself.Your browser's own settings can block cookies entirely, and most browsers offer a private window that discards everything on closing. Clearing your browsing data will also clear the answer recorded here, and you will simply be asked again.

The rest

08
Where the detail lives. The full account of what is collected, why, who sees it, how long it is kept and what you may demand is in the Privacy Notice. This page covers only what is stored on your device.
